Terms of service
DevvyBoard Terms of Service
These Terms of Service explain the rules for using DevvyBoard, a product of Stockulate LTD, on mobile and on the web, including collaboration features, team invites, subscriptions, and your responsibilities as a user.
1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of DevvyBoard, including our mobile applications for iOS and Android, our website at devvyboard.app (including sign-in, invite, and join pages), and all related features (collectively, the "Service"). DevvyBoard is a product of Stockulate LTD, a company registered in England and Wales ("Stockulate LTD", "we", "us", or "our").
By creating an account, downloading or using our mobile apps, visiting our website, accepting a team invite, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy at https://devvyboard.app/privacy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
If you use the Service on behalf of a company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms, and "you" includes that organization.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf.
You must provide accurate registration information and keep your account details current. You may not use the Service if you are barred from doing so under applicable law or if we have previously suspended or terminated your account for violation of these Terms.
3. Description of the Service
DevvyBoard is a collaborative workspace for software and product teams. Depending on your platform and plan, the Service may include:
• Kanban boards with columns and cards, including drag-and-drop ordering and realtime sync across devices • An ideas backlog with the ability to promote ideas into board cards • Comments on cards and ideas • File and image attachments stored in project-scoped storage • Project chat, including a shared project room and direct messages between project members • Organizations, projects, and role-based team membership • Secure invite links and invite codes to join projects • Free-tier usage limits and optional paid upgrades ("DevvyBoard Pro")
The website at devvyboard.app currently provides marketing pages, account sign-in (email magic link and Google), invite preview and join flows, and deep links into the mobile apps. A full browser-based workspace may be added later; features and availability may change over time.
We may offer beta or experimental features. Such features are provided as-is and may be modified or discontinued without notice.
4. Accounts, authentication, and security
You may sign in using a one-time email magic link and/or Google sign-in, processed through Supabase Auth. On the website, sign-in establishes a session using essential cookies managed by our authentication provider.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your sign-in method and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at business@stockulate.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
We may refuse registration, reclaim usernames, or suspend accounts that violate these Terms or pose a security or legal risk.
5. Organizations, projects, and team access
The Service is structured around organizations and projects. When you create an organization and project, you become an owner with administrative control over that workspace, subject to your plan limits.
Project owners control membership, roles, and invite links. Other members access only the projects they have joined. You are responsible for how you configure access within your team and for ensuring that inviting others complies with your employer's or client's policies and with applicable law.
Deleting a project as owner permanently removes that project's board, ideas, comments, attachments, chat, invites, and related data. If it was the last project in an organization you own, the organization may also be deleted. This action cannot be undone.
6. Invite links and codes
Project owners may generate invite links (for example, https://devvyboard.app/invite?code=...) and invite codes so others can join a project. Invite codes expire after a limited period (currently seven days unless changed in the product).
Anyone with a valid invite link or code may attempt to join the associated project after authenticating. Do not share invite links publicly or with people who should not access your workspace. You are responsible for invite links you distribute.
Our public invite preview endpoint reveals only whether a code is valid, the project name, and the expiry time. It does not expose member lists, board content, or other private project data.
7. Your content
"User Content" means all information and material you or your teammates submit through the Service, including organization and project names, board and card data, ideas, comments, chat messages, direct messages, profile information, and uploaded attachments.
You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant Stockulate LTD a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, transmit, display, and otherwise use User Content solely as necessary to operate, secure, and improve the Service for you and your authorized teammates. This license ends when your User Content is deleted from our systems, except where retention is required by law or legitimate backup/archival practices.
You represent that you have all rights necessary to submit User Content and that doing so does not violate any third party's rights or applicable law.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service. Without limiting other restrictions, you must not:
• Upload, share, or transmit unlawful, infringing, defamatory, harassing, abusive, hateful, or otherwise objectionable content • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, projects, systems, or data • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or bypass access controls, rate limits, or plan limits except as expressly permitted • Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including through excessive automated requests, malware, or denial-of-service activity • Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications outside your legitimate team collaboration • Scrape, harvest, or collect information from the Service except through documented interfaces you are authorized to use • Reverse engineer or decompile the mobile apps except to the extent permitted by applicable law • Use the Service in violation of export control, sanctions, or other applicable regulations
We may investigate violations and remove content, restrict features, or suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion. We may report illegal activity to authorities where required or appropriate.
9. Free plans, usage limits, and fair use
DevvyBoard offers free and paid plan tiers. Free and paid tiers are subject to limits on projects, members per project, storage, and other features defined in the product and in our backend configuration. Limits may change; material reductions to free-tier limits will not apply retroactively to existing content without reasonable notice where feasible.
If you exceed your plan limits, certain actions (such as creating projects, inviting members, or uploading files) may be blocked until you upgrade or reduce usage. Attempting to evade limits—for example by creating multiple organizations solely to bypass caps—violates these Terms.
10. Paid subscriptions and billing
DevvyBoard Pro and other paid features, when available, are purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store as in-app subscriptions unless we explicitly offer another payment method. Payment processing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled by the applicable store under its terms and policies.
We use RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases, entitlements, and subscription status on mobile devices. Your Supabase user ID may be linked to your RevenueCat customer record so purchases can be associated with your account. Subscription events may be sent to our backend via a secure webhook to sync organization plan tiers and enforce server-side limits.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled through your store account settings before the renewal date. Pricing, billing period (for example monthly or yearly), and features are shown in the app at the time of purchase. You can manage or cancel subscriptions through the App Store, Google Play, or the in-app Customer Center where available.
Except where required by law or store policy, payments are non-refundable. Restore purchases using the in-app restore option if you reinstall the app or change devices.
11. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers, including Supabase (database, authentication, storage, and realtime sync), Vercel (website hosting), Google (OAuth sign-in), Apple and Google (app distribution and billing), and RevenueCat (subscription management). Your use of those services may be subject to their separate terms and privacy policies.
Deep links and app links may open our mobile apps using platform mechanisms such as Android App Links, iOS Universal Links, and custom URL schemes (for example, devvyboard://). Store listings may link to external download pages we do not control.
We are not responsible for third-party services, app store policies, or interruptions caused by providers outside our reasonable control.
12. Intellectual property
DevvyBoard and its logos, branding, software, website design, and documentation are owned by Stockulate LTD or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited rights expressly granted in these Terms, no license is granted to you.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service or included software except as allowed by applicable law or with our written permission.
13. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy at https://devvyboard.app/privacy explains how we collect, use, share, and retain personal data. By using the Service, you acknowledge that we will process personal data as described there.
14. Service availability and changes
We strive to keep DevvyBoard available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, updates, third-party outages, and events outside our control may cause downtime or data delays.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. Where reasonably practicable, we will provide notice of material changes that adversely affect paid subscribers.
15. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. You may request account deletion by contacting business@stockulate.com. Project owners may delete projects from within the app.
We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you materially breach these Terms, create risk or legal exposure for us, or where required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute terms) will survive termination.
We may retain certain information as described in our Privacy Policy and as required by law.
16. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. STOCKULATE LTD DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements, that User Content will be preserved without loss, or that the Service will be secure or free from bugs or harmful components. You use the Service at your own risk.
17. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STOCKULATE LTD AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO STOCKULATE LTD FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS (USD $100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection law.
18. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you will indemnify and hold harmless Stockulate LTD from and against any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your User Content, your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights or applicable law.
19. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence require otherwise.
Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at business@stockulate.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. If we cannot resolve a dispute within sixty (60) days, either party may pursue remedies in the courts of England and Wales, subject to mandatory consumer rights that may allow you to bring claims in your local courts.
If you are a consumer in the European Union or United Kingdom, you may also use the EU/UK online dispute resolution platform where applicable.
20. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms on https://devvyboard.app/terms and update the "Last updated" date. For significant changes, we may also notify you in the app or by email where appropriate.
Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.
21. General
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any store-specific terms that apply to in-app purchases, constitute the entire agreement between you and Stockulate LTD regarding the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
